Little River is the oldest community in the entire Grand Strand Area. It is only 5 minutes from the Ocean.

Known for its fresh seafood, fishing charters, the Blue Crab Festival, and hundreds of centuries-old live oak trees, Little River is one of the few remaining towns on the Grand Strand that has kept it's slow-paced way of life.

Little River is about 20 minutes north of Myrtle Beach, close enough to be in the center of it all, and far away enough to enjoy the peaceful life in this fishing community.

The Casino Gambling Boats now docked in Little River bring locals and tourists from all over the world for gambling excursions into international waters, where South Carolina's gambling ban does not apply.

Little River is home to generations of charter fishermen, who also operate short party-boat fishing trips near the shore, as well as day-long fishing trips in the deep waters of the Gulf Stream.

For those who love to play in the Intracoastal Waterway, jet ski and pontoon boat rentals are available. There is also dock space at Crickett Cove and Coquina Harbor marinas.
